Zoo

We decided to take a trip to the zoo since it has been ages! It was a lot of fun! We went with our friends and the boys just had a blast!We went on the train ride and the kids loved it! Owen was so captivated and just didn't want to get off.
After the train we let them play at the playground. Calvin was soooo happy and being so cute just playing around and having a good time. He was playing peek-a-boo and cheesing it up! I love my baby!

Catching up

Ok I promise I will be better about blogging. I feel so crazy all the time. Owen doesn't nap and I don't hardly have any free time to do it but I need to be better. Easter was so fun! Of course our camera battery died on Easter morning so I didn't get any pictures :( Poor Calvin doesn't have any 1st Easter pictures. Owen sure had fun finding the eggs and eating more candy than a kid should be allowed! Mother's Day was wonderful! The day before we went up to Layton to see Lee's mom and took them out to eat. Then the day of, Lee made me breakfast and then let me just relax all day. I even took a nap! Bliss! We then went to my mom's and my whole family came over and we had a fun dinner. I am so thankful for both my mom and mother in law! I am blessed with great family on all sides! Here is me on mothers day with my boys and my mom. I need to get one with Lee's mom as well!I also ran a half marathon relay with my friend/neighbor. We had a lot of fun doing it. I didn't train at all and hadn't run in about a month so I was slower than anticipated but I still loved it. It made me realize how much I love and miss running so I am going to start doing that more! Here we are at the finish line! Always love the sweaty end of race look! haha
Lee also had his birthday! The big 29! His last year in his 20's! It was low key. We went out to dinner the night of and the next day just had cake and celebrated as a little family.

Barnyard

We went with some neighbors and their girls to Thanksgiving point to the barnyard. It was so nice outside and Owen and Cal had such a good time! I can't believe how big they are both getting!

March

We met some friends at a play place and let our kids run wild! They had a lot of fun! This is pretty much the excitement we had for March. SO excited for spring and summer to come back so we have more exciting things going on!

Pirate Island

We went with some friends to pirate island. It is like Chuck-E-Cheese only way nicer and way funner. The food is MUCH better and cheaper and the atmosphere is very clean and nice. You seriously feel like you have walked into a different world. Owen and Tate loved it, even if they were a tiny bit scared of the pirates!

Owen and Tate's birthday party!

Owens birthday is February 23. My best friend Jill had Tate 9 days after me on March 3. So our boys have become best friends too! We usually celebrate with a combined party for the 2 of them. They both love the movie "Cars" so we had a cars themed party for them. Jill made these super cute cakes that looked like Lightning McQueen and we had a fun time hanging out with all our friends! Here is the birthday boy! He sure does NOT like his picture being taken so this was the best shot I got, sorry.And who could forget about the little brother!? Look at that sweet boy playing away. haha I love his confused look on his face.
We had some orange cones we were decorating so we had all the kids color a picture to wrap around the cone.
The set up! These are the 2 cakes Jill made for the boys, one for Owen and one for Tate. I made extra cupcakes too! We had lots of sweets this week!!!
