Calvin is 6 months!

Wow, time just flies and I feel like the worst mom for not even posting hardly ever. The problem is, Owen stopped napping which got rid of about 3 free hours during the day :(. Anyways, Calvin turned 6 months old! He is getting so big and I just love him with my whole heart! I am so so so thankful that I have him in my life and that he joined our little family. He is seriously just the biggest sweetheart ever. He is such a relaxed, good, content baby! Kinda figures that I would have 2 completely opposite kids in every way!! haha. Anyways, he is doing really good. I took him to the pediatrician and she is not worried about him in the slightest. The thing is, Owen was such a mover and did everything ridiculously above schedule and Calvin is just being a normal baby so he is right on schedule. It is so hard to not compare your kids so she thinks we were just worried over nothing. Also, his personality is a lot more laid back (which is SO nice!) I think Owen is a lot like Lee was when he was little and Calvin is more like me. Apparently I loved to just sit and I didn't walk until 15 months so I am betting Calvin won't crawl or walk till a little later since he is just so content.
Anyways, he is a little sweetheart and happy and content. He loves his little jumper and loves to be around people. He loves to be held and cuddled and he loves to eat. Real food. He munches on his mum mum's crackers and is a champ at eating the pureed foods. He absolutely loves his brother so much and they love to squeal and laugh at each other. Calvin loves to screech to get attention and has the most adorable smile and laugh there ever was! He can almost sit up by himself. He can roll both from his back to tummy and tummy to back. He will put anything and everything in his mouth. His stats:

He is the absolute perfect chubbiness and I want to squeeze him all day long. His chubby little cheeks look like rosy red apples that I can't stop kissing. I love this age and this stage he is in. He is so fun and happy and cute and everything is adorable about him. I get so sad to think of him growing up and getting bigger because I want to just hold on to this exact time in our lives. I want to cherish every second. I am so in love with this little guy and I am amazed at how attached a mother can get to her babies. I would do anything for my little man. Both my boys! I am so happy we had another because our joy and happiness has only doubled! I love my Calvin and can't wait to see what the future has in store for us!

Frightmares!

Lee got some free tickets from his work to go to frightmares at Lagoon. Seriously, it was SOOOO fun! I forgot how much I love it. We took Owen and Cal through a little kid walkthrough to get candy. Owen was scared of the pirate (it wasn't even scary) but it was still fun. We tried to get Owen on some rides but if Lee or I wasn't allowed on the ride then all hell broke loose. We made him ride on the boat by himself and you can clearly see he isn't happy. He literally cried the entire ride. What mean parents.

He then perked up when we started putting him on rides with other random kids that were in line. At first he was scared of this little boy but they had a good time on the ride.Here he is in the back of the spaceship with more random kids. And yes, he carried 2 suckers around all day.
We then took the Lagoon train around. He LOVED it so much we went on it twice.Cal didn't care much for it though. :) jk actually he was fine and just looks cranky in this picture but was a really good boy all day. Slept most the day actually.
At dinner we went over to Lee's parents and had dinner then they watched the boys so we could go back with some friends and do some adult rides. It was a blast and I LOVED it! It was so fun to pretend to be young and irresponsible. Plus I laughed myself giddy on just about every ride. By the end we both were feeling sick but it was worth it. The haunted houses were even fun too!

Rice cereal

We decided to try Rice Cereal out on Calvin one night. I don't know how much he really liked it but it sure was messy. I am going to wait a little longer before I start actually giving it to him consistently because I just don't think he really needs it I just thought it would be fun to try.

makeup artist

I walked into my bathroom and found Owen in my makeup. He actually did a pretty good job.
Um...should I be worried? :)

Pumpkin boy!

HAHAHAHAHA! We tried on Calvin's costume and unfortunately it is just a bit small for him. He still looked adorable though!!
