My parents decided they wanted to take us all on a trip to California as a family! It was sooo fun! We did Disneyland, Sea World and the beach. They rented a house in San Clemente so we were able to all be together. I loved it! I want to go back already!!
We started our trip going to Disneyland. These pictures are the first day there. So much fun!!Calvin was not going to wait in an hour long line just to have his picture with Mickey so we are missing him.
My sweet boys!
The next day we just relaxed at our beach house and got geared up for Sea World for the next day. Here we are at Sea World. It was so nice, not crowded at all! We decided to not go to the Shamu show since our kids don't sit very well and ended up being the only ones playing with the dolphins. They were adorable and kept coming to us and letting us pet them and then they would turn around and splash us with water. I loved it!
The next day we went back to Disneyland. I just love it there. We did California Adventures and Owen even went on the Tower of Terror! I refuse to go on that ride!
The last day we went to the Beach and played all day. Calvin sure did not like the water or waves. It scared him and he kept trying to escape. Lol. Owen absolutely LOVED it and had a blast.

Fall fun
This fall was a blast. Fall always is though. There are so many fun things to do and see! We spent a lot of time playing and going fun places. At Thanksgiving Point they have Cornbellys which is a lot of fun for the kids. We also went to Disneyland and Sea World but I will post about that in a different post. Here we are at Cornbelly's.
Here is Calvin playing around in the train!
Me and my Lee lee
Lol. I just put this on here because I think it is hilarious that I am just smiling like normal and Calvin was freaking out. I am sure he was having some sort of tantrum over something silly.
They have a big corn house that is full of corn kernals the kids can play in. Owen hates his picture being taken and was refusing all night to let me take one. I had to sneak this one in.
Unfortunately, I forgot my camera most times we went out so this is about it for our fall activities. I don't even have pictures from Halloween night :(

First Day of School
I decided last minute that I wanted to put Owen in preschool. I know he will just love it! He could not wait to go. This morning he came running in and immediately wanted to go to school. He loved picking out his own backpack and wore it around all last night and this morning while he was waiting.

Cute boys!
We took the boys to get their haircut today. I just wanted to post because I think they both look so dang adorable! We go to Cookie Cutters and I just love it. They do such a good job! This was Calvin's second haircut ever and he did so good. He even got a sucker (his very first sucker in his life!) They are so cute! Love my boys!

Timp Half
WOOHOO! I finished my 3rd half marathon! It was a LOT of fun! I know it sounds crazy, but seriously it was. Races are so addicting and I already want to do another one! I am super happy that I finished it a lot faster than I originally thought I would. I was anticipating between 2 hrs 15 min to 2.5 hours but I crossed the finish line at 2:01!!!! :) That is a 9:10 pace!! Love it! My mom and my neighbor ran it too so it was a lot of fun to have them there as well. Here is me and my mummy after our 13.1 miles!!! My sweet husband and kids were there at the finish line as well! I love my family!

Playin in the Gutter
One of the screens that filters our water for Saratoga Springs broke and since we live at the bottom of the pipe, they had to open the fire hydrants to clear out the water. We, being the good parents we are, let our kids play in the gutter and take a break from the heat! It was actually a lot of fun!
haha! I don't think Cal liked it at first, but then he warmed up to it! :)

Obedience
I have a few new posts so keep scrolling...
This particular post is religious related. I am not a super spiritual person but this is just some of my thoughts and feelings today and I want to share.
Fitness and Exercise and Health are such a big part of my life. Every day I chase after my boys, I teach aerobics, I am training for a half marathon. All these things help make up who I am and play such a big role in my life.
Today at church we were talking about Obedience. The teacher asked us to think of a time when we were obedient and how it changed our lives. I didn't share with the class, because I feel it a little too personal but I feel like I need to write it down.
In high school and a little after, I really struggled with certain areas of the church. One of them, the Word of Wisdom. At that time I had gained some weight and was just getting into working out and being healthy. I remember praying one night for help. I was asking for help to know what things I should do to help me lose weight and be healthier (I know it sounds silly, but I really was struggling with a lot of things in my life then). I got the strongest confirmation telling me "If you Obey the Word of Wisdom, I will bless you with good health" The scripture came to my mind "I the Lord am bound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise" (D&C 82:10). That night I made a vow to test it out, I stopped doing anything that was against the word of wisdom and since that night long ago, I haven't touched alcohol or anything of that nature.
Fast forward to today, by simply obeying that simple commandment, I have a healthy and happy life, my life revolves around the Word of Wisdom and my obedience to it. Eat healthy, workout, stay away from harmful substances. I can not believe how blessed I am now. I can walk and not be weary, I can run and not be faint. I have run 2 half marathons and will run another in 2 weeks, I teach aerobics almost everyday, I run, I can chase around my kids and feel good. I am so thankful for the chance that I have to be obedient and the many blessing that have come from it.
